Weird speaker setti

Update:11-30Source: network consolidation

Hi,
I've got a bit of a problem with my new 5. system and I believe the problem comes from the sound card (Integrated Sound Blaster Audigy Advanced HD Audio).
When I first realised no sound was coming from the central speakerI thought it was just not working and needed to be fixed. But then when I changed the speaker settings, it worked but not as it should:
In 5. the central speaker (and sometimes the rear right one too) won't work but if I switch to 7. (which I'm not equipped for) for instance, then it works but it's supposed to be the central left one ... it just confirms that all speakers are fine but they're not recognized as they should.
I triple checked all wire connections (and it's impossible to fail it actually) and settings (all speakers volume is on) ... does anyone have a suggestion to make or should I just cry over my cool brand new failing system?
Thanks a lot in advance!

If you have connected your speakers and the TV to a hi-fi amplifier, the problem is probably a defect "Endstufe" (german - couldn't find the correct English word for this component). Check the MOSFET transistors. If you have problems adjusting the volume using a potentiometer (weird noise), a little bit of contact spray might help.
