Thunderbolt?? Anytime soon?

Update:11-30Source: network consolidation

I have this awesome new MBA and no reasonable way to get large files on or off of it.  Thunderbolt has been out for many months and there is still only 1 (super expensive, non-portable) option for hard drives. I'm losing faith.

Simon- Thanks, I do have a  27" Apple Display with a mini display port however there are only USB2 ports on it, so don't really gain anything... since I can just attach a USB2 hard drive directly to the MBA.
Jason- I'm curious to know which of the methods you listed you used to transfer 90--160 gig files? Or did you mean megabites? I generally only need to move 4-5 gig files, however  using USB2 I've found it can take  up to 30 mins to transfer... so I'd love to know how you're moving such large files.
Thanks all!
