Airport Express won't connect to my wireless

Update:11-30Source: network consolidation

I have a airport express router that i want to connect to my network wirelessly.
I go through the step and tell it to join my network. Once I do that it starts to scan for it and can't find it.
I have to hit the reset the button to start the process over.
My other network is on a Linksys router on a windows 7 lap top.
I do have an Imac that is currently on the same network without any issues
I have no idea how to make it part of my network.

The most common reason for this error is that the security settings on one router do not exactly match the security settings on another. If this is the case, the Express cannot join the network and you have to start all over again.
Can you access the setup pages for your Linksys and find the exact type of security that it is using?
It might look something like this:
WPA2 Personal
WPA/WPA2 Personal
WPA-PSK (TKIP)
WPA2-PSK (AES)
What is the exact setting that you see?
